As a buyer's agent, I work for you, the buyer. Although my commission is normally paid by the seller, real estate law allows me to look out for your best interest. I take this very seriously. If you elect to employ me as a buyer's agent we will go through the following process: 1. Communication is extremely important. I will listen to your needs, then I will ask questions to determine what is important to you. The primary factors driving the Smith's decision may not apply at all to the Jones'. It is my job to help you find the home that is right for you. 2. Once I have a good idea of what you want, I will help you arrange financing. We work with many outstanding mortgage professionals who will assess your situation and give you pre-approval for your loan. When we have a letter of credit, we can establish a price range for our search. I will not waste your time looking at property that does not meet our criteria. 3. It's time for me to do my research. I will take your needs and desires and establish a list of properties that I think you will be interested in. 4. At this point, we will meet to review my list and go view the homes you are interested in. If we visit your dream home, great, if not, we can fine tune our search.
